Interested in ACCELERATING your coach training?
The Accelerated Coach Training Program is a combination of on-site intensive coach training and tele-class experiences – a total of 64 hours. Throughout this training, participants master the core coaching competencies, receive feedback on their coaching and select from several electives to customize their coaching. During the on-site training the following courses are covered:
- 201: Getting Started as a Coach
- 202: Deep Listening
- 203: Powerful Questioning
- 204: The Coaching Agreement
- 301: Common Coaching Scenarios in Ministry
- 302: Coaching Intact Teams and Groups
- 303: Creating New Awareness: Coaching on Limiting Beliefs and False Assumptions
- 304: Establishing Yourself as a Coach
- 305: Practice Lab
After completion of the on-site training, the following required course is taken by the student in a tele-class format:
In addition, after completion of the on-site training, students select four tele-class electives. (Select 4 from the following list of Tele-class Electives)
- 102: Conflict Coaching
- 103: Coaching the Lead Pastor
- 104: Relationship Coaching
- 105: The Supervisor as Coach
- 106: Coaching Small Groups and Life Groups
- 107: Coaching for Focus and ADHD Challenges
- 108: Group Coaching Practice Lab
- 109: How to Lead a Tele-class
Accelerated Students must also complete 7 months of individual mentor-coaching (Two 45 minute mentor-coaching sessions per month for 7 months) and successfully complete a written and oral coaching exam. *Please note that the cost of mentor-coaching and the coaching exam are not included in the Accelerated Coach Training participant fee.
An Accelerated Coach Training Skills Certificate will be issued to those who have completed the
- 4 or 5 day on-site intensive coach training
- Tele-Class 205: Developing a Strong Personal Foundation (required)
- Four tele-class electives
- 7 months of mentor-coaching
- Logged 100 hours of coaching (a maximum of 25 hours can be pro bono coaching)
- .. and successfully completed the coaching exam ($350 fee)
Breakdown of Fees:
- Accelerated Coach Training Tuition: $2,998 Registration — OR– $3,698 Late Registration Fee (These costs reflect tuition only, book and materials fees are extra. When a retreat center is used lodging is added into the Accelerated Training Fee.)
- Mentor Coach Training: $1,400 Group Mentor-Coaching -OR– $2,800 Individual Mentor-Coaching
- Coaching Exam: $350
