In an earlier article, I shared the findings of a report that were published in the Philadelphia Inquirer at the beginning of February, 2011. It measured the economic value of 12 churches and other faith communities, and what they’re worth to their surrounding neighborhoods.
Now, I’d like to challenge you to review this article and start crunching the numbers for your own church. Once you have a figure, set a goal for how to increase it. Then, go back and measure it again, let’s say in three years, and see how much it’s increased. And then celebrate these measurable results.
What do you say? Are you up for this challenge? Please leave your comments on the blog to let me know what you think.
