How Social Media and Blogging Make the World Smaller and Friendlier

Lately I’ve been really excited about social media and blogging. It’s not where I started out, trust me, but now I’m seeing huge benefits and rewards from my steady efforts.

After all, connecting with people is one of my favorite things to do, and social media allows me to do that quickly and easily.

Not only that, but I’m meeting and engaging with people all around the world. I love that Disney song, “It’s a Small World (After All),” and that is what I’m seeing come true. Through social media, I’m discovering that while there are unique cultural frameworks in every part of the world, there are many similar issues as well.

Wherever you look, pastors are feeling isolated, wondering how to connect to the next generation and wondering how they can be more effective in their ministry. At Coaching4Clergy, our mission is to develop every pastor into a coach – we want to empower pastors, ministry staff and church leaders with the coaching skills that will revitalize and transform churches – and people – across the globe.

And with social media and blogging, we’re doing that – one connection at a time.

Have you and I connected online yet? Tweet me on Twitter, post a comment to the blog or write on the Wall section of our Coaching4Clergy Facebook Fan Page (you’ll have to “Like” us first).
