J. Val Hastings, MCC, is the Founder and President of Coaching4Clergy, which provides specialized training for pastors, church leaders and coaches. Val hired his first coach while he was pastoring at a local United Methodist church. His progress was noticeable by all, and he began to wonder, “What if I adopted a coaching approach to ministry? What if the larger church adopted a coaching approach to ministry?” In that moment, a vision began to emerge—a global vision of Every Pastor, Ministry Staff and Church Leader a Coach.
Val is the author of the book The Next Great Awakening: How to Empower God’s People with a Coach Approach to Ministry and the e-book The E3-Church: Empowered, Effective and Entrepreneurial Leadership That Will Keep Your Church Alive. Val currently holds the designation of Master Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation, its highest coaching designation.

Laura C. Pumo, is the owner and president of Office DEVA an online business management company specializing in marketing and process support of professional coaches, speakers, authors and non-profit agencies. Since 2003, Laura has partnered with coaching professionals nationally, and began her work with Coaching4Clergy in 2007. She’s most proud of her continued work with Val Hastings and the ever growing Coaching4Clergy Leadership Team!
In 2009 Laura became the Membership Director of the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) where she’s held various volunteer positions over the last 5 years. In 2004 Laura was elected to the Delaware Valley Virtual Assistants Association as Vice President of Communications & Membership, with whom she still remains a member. Laura also is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and remains an active member. Laura and her husband live in the Greater Philadelphia Area with their three children.

Jim brings a wealth of practical results-oriented experience to his coaching clients. Pastors and congregations benefit from his depth experience with congregation revitalization – its unique demands, pitfalls and hidden opportunities. Business clients benefit from his many years consulting with managers, engineers, and teams in an intercultural business context.
His coaching is focused – helping clients get to the heart of the matter quickly, move forward, and accomplish goals that are realistic and measurable. Prior to becoming ordained in 2003, Rev. Latimer consulted for many years with Western, Asian and Latin American clients primarily in the areas of change management, team development, knowledge transfer, organization learning and cultural proficiency.
He holds an MBA and an MA in Asian Studies from Cornell University, a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Divinity from the Pacific School of Religion. He is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ.

Dr. Jim Robey, an Elder in the North Alabama Conference, was the first clergy in the UMC to be officially endorsed for the Ministry of Life Coaching. He is appointed to extension ministry as the Executive Director of ATTENTIONAL GROWTH INC, a non-profit organization which he founded. Jim is a renowned speaker, seminar leader, teacher and coach with a profound commitment to help others grow in their ministry and connection to God. He earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Emory University and is a graduate of the Co-Active Leadership Program of the Coaches Training Institute.
Jim brings a passion for helping people become more of who they are called by God to be. Included in his coaching is his humor, life experiences, 39 years serving churches, love for God and the church, and a profound commitment to partnering with others in their own ministry. Dr. Robey coaches ministers, District Superintendents, Directors of Connectional Ministry and others who are motivated to grow in life and ministry. He is also a Mentor Coach for the UMC’s Path 1 program for new church start pastors, and is coaching a pastor in Montana. His clients are from the USA, Canada and Europe. Jim and his wife Betty live in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Sue Politte, ICF certified coach, has over 30 years of involvement with Christian ministries, church and non-profit. She highly values the God given uniqueness of each individual and situation. She coaches to leverage God given strengths so lives are lived with passion, courage and success.
Sue partners with many clients to build and support focus to achieve success. These clients may have ADHD; others may be experiencing very challenging situations which make focus difficult. Powerful areas for focus coaching: celebrating the individual, establishing boundaries that reflect priorities, custom tailoring time, organizational and accountability strategies.
With pastors, executive directors, leaders and teams, Sue coaches to draw on the unique strength of each individual, identify limiting beliefs, advocate constructive communication, strategize, and troubleshoot. These are important keys to lasting and effective change. Sue’s Bachelor’s Degree, engineering and business studies, paired with her experience equip her to partner effectively in business/management situations for results that matter.

Trigena H. Halley, PCC is the founder and owner of Peak Performance CCT, LLC (www.peakperformancecct.com). During her professional career, Trigena has held various leadership positions in the global corporate arena with a focus on talent development, strategy execution, achievement of financial goals and client satisfaction.
Today Trigena works with individuals and organizations seeking to enhance, improve and sustain peak performance through a result-focused approach. She specializes in leadership, conflict and team coaching, performance improvement, development of leaders and working with organizations to employ a sustainable coaching culture. Her experience spans service, non-profit, corporate as well as faith-based and educational organizations. Trigena also offers several individual and organizational assessments, a few include the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), MHS EQi assessment (Emotional Intelligence), Professional Coaching Styles Indicator (PCSI), and PRISM 360 Assessment.
As a mentor coach, Trigena supports business and ministry leaders working toward ICF certification. She works with coaches, consultants and trainers who have or are starting their own business to support their success both initially and long-term.
Trigena volunteers both within her community and her local church, her ministry focus is with an organization called Holding Out HELP (www.holdingouthelp.org), which supports individuals and families leaving a polygamist lifestyle and transitioning into mainstream society. Trigena has a Master of Arts in Communication Consultancy and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing both from Oklahoma State University.
In 1999 Trigena moved to Sandy, Utah where she spends four seasons a year outdoors – skiing, hiking, running, and canyoneering slot canyons. Passionate for the great outdoors Trigena leads outdoor retreats, she believes nature itself is the ideal palate for change.
She continues to enjoy exploring the great state of Utah and other exciting destinations with her husband, two children and friends.
