The Rev. Dr. Deborah J. Winters is a graduate of Coaching4Clergy (C4C) who now serves as a faculty, trainer, and trains-the-trainers for C4C. She is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Foundation and is a coach for the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ. She has served 24 years as a settled pastor and now serves as a transitional (interim) pastor for congregations in the midst of change. She is an Affiliate Professor of Biblical Studies and teaches coaching at Palmer Theological Seminary. She and her husband Gary founded the non-profit 501(c)(3) God’s Precious Children helping children in Liberia, West Africa receive a better chance at a brighter future through an education in the name of Jesus. She co-edited the book, Who Killed Goliath? Reading the Bible with Heart and Mind, wrote on the Psalms in The Pastor’s Bible Study Vol. 3: A New Interpreter’s Bible Study, and has written sermons and worship settings for the Minister’s Annual Manual. When not coaching, writing, preaching, teaching, or on the mission field, Gary and Deb enjoy kayaking and biking, particularly with their grandchildren.
