I’ve gone from scratchy AM radio to full HD cinema surround sound!

May 10, 2017 By //  by J. Val Hastings

I frequently receive notes from students about their newly acquired coaching skills.  Here’s

one that recently came across my desk after a listening class.

I have been listening with all my senses all week. As a predominantly auditory processor it has been eye opening (pun intended) to listen with my other senses. It’s amazing to watch people’s body language and facial expressions and to listen to their sighs.
It’s like I’ve gone from having a conversation with a scratchy AM radio to full HD cinema surround sound!

It never ceases to amaze me the dramatic difference that coaching skills can make. Consider adding coaching to your skill set this summer!

All the best to you,
