For many people the start of a new year is a time of addition. We resolve to add exercise, a better food diet, new goals, etc. As 2016 begins, I’d like you to consider the opposite – subtraction. This is the perfect time to stop doing things, or to let go of something and leave it back in 2015.
Here is a short list of things to stop doing or let go of:
- A busy, over-booked schedule.
- A relationship that just isn’t working — that no matter how hard you try.
- A “to-do” list that doesn’t really help you get things done.
- A grudge or a hurt feeling that you’ve been nursing along.
You get the idea. What’s the one thing that, if you stopped, would contribute the most to 2016?
All the best to you,
