Sarah loves seeing people get excited about their lives, callings, and futures. Serving as a coach and facilitator allows her to be part of this transformation and growth. Sarah is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator-Consultant, Lutheran pastor (ELCA), and coach. For over six years Sarah has traveled nationally keynoting and facilitating workshops on resiliency, vulnerability, and shame. Sarah has the unique honor of being an ordained clergy member serving in a leadership position with the Daring Way™ as a consultant, coaching candidates through final steps of certification. She has received numerous grants recognizing her work in exploring shame and vulnerability in church contexts. Also, Sarah has been the Director of Spiritual Care at Augustana Care Health and Rehabilitation of Apple Valley, MN for over ten years, having earned 4 units (1600 hours) of Clinical Pastoral Education. Previously, she served in parish ministry. She is a graduate of Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN where she was a Presidential Scholar. She is married with two children, writes songs, and loves improv.
