What’s the simplest next step?

September 10, 2013 By //  by J. Val Hastings

This question is on my Top Ten List of questions. Question Mark - 2

Why?

Because it’s simple.

This question invites the person you are coaching step out of confusion and overload and step into a place of simple and concrete.  Time and time again, this question is followed by an ‘A-ha’ or an ‘Hmmm’ and a crystal clear next step.

That’s why I love this question.
