I don’t usually read research and global studies. One recent study has caught my attention; it’s the 2016 Global Coaching Study. Here are two findings that caught my attention:
- Seventy-seven percent of coach practitioners and 72 percent of managers and leaders using coaching skills agree that people and organizations using coaching expect their coaches to be credentialed.
- Credentialed coaches command higher fees and report more clients and greater annual revenue from coaching than their peers without a credential.
Wow! If you are thinking about becoming a coach, please take notice of these two bullet points.
I am proud of the fact that the professional and leadership organizations that we relate to place high value on a coaching credential. The deciding factor for many that engage our training services is learning that our graduates have achieved all three coaching credentials: ACC, PCC and MCC.
